Marrowpack
▼
♞
WARNING: Some more mature and sensitive stuff is in this pack.Marrow pack is the most ruthless in the forest, they had found their home very easily in an old lost wooden cabin. The way you got inside was the initiation, and if you passed you were allowed inside if you failed you were killed. The initiation is no longer a tradition in Marrow. They’re known as the killers, devils, and reason the original clans had split… If that’s true, well, you’ll have to find out.
Ranks
Ruler; You’re born into it, if it’s a litter of more than one, at the age of nine moons the cats fight it out. This can end in killing, or forfeits… but one is the winner and take the place as rightpaw under their father/mother.
Rightpaw; Simply picked by the ruler as someone he sees fit until the ruler has a litter of kittens(A placeholder). If the ruler does not have kittens, then at a specific time the ruler will hold an ‘initiation’ with all current apprentices who wish to take the position. This is the deputy figure, and when the ruler dies, the rightpaw will take their place.
Leftpaw; The rulers mate! Male or female they holds third in command power.
Medic; The medicine cat/healer
Elder.
Executioner; The cats who kill the captured, and those who disobey. They’re cats who enforce rules and most punishments, unless told otherwise.
Warriors; Borrowed from their old clans, but these are the fighters.
Rabbittails; The hunters of the clan, the feeders, and those who fetch herbs. Though, you don’t HAVE to share what you get.
Trainee; Those working on a position, same as an apprentice. 6-12 Moons old.
Newborn; Kits! 1-6 Moons old.
Captured; Cats who are from other packs, or a loner/rogue. They have no rights and slowly have to climb their way from a capture cat to one of the ranks.
Rules
I. Rulers word is law.
II. Ruler is picked when the cat litter turns 9 moons old and fight for the position. If no litter is conceived then any apprentice under 12 moons may fight for the position. If nobody fights, then the Ruler picks.
III. All loyalty should be towards the ruler and Marrow Pack.
IV. NO kittypets/outsiders. Loners/Rogues may be able to join Marrow if they prove themselves, but kittypets are always rejected or killed. When taken into the pack your rank is ‘captured’, then it will become a trainee, then whatever rank you desired.
V. NO leaving. You’ll be found and killed or tortured.
VI. Kits turn to Trainee at six moons, and their position at ten moons, or the ruler may delay for any reason.
VII. There is NOT one mentor. The entire pack mentors a trainee.
VIII. Rogue names only
Apprentice Tests
I. Warrior; An apprentice must beat a cat in the fighting pit. There is no 'close to death’, if a cat is pinned or on the ground for ten seconds they lose. If a warrior kills the cat apprentice then the warrior is punished. If an apprentice kills the warrior they’re facing then there is no punishment. [An apprentice should not be able to kill a warrior, it shows weakness. An apprentice should not be killed by a warrior, it’s showing lack of restraint, strength, and loyalty.]
II. Rabbittail; An apprentice must hunt for three things after dusk. They only have until morning to bring it back or they must continue training; An animal that can fly. An animal from the ground. An animal from the sea.
III. Executioner; An apprentice must guard to the captured den for the night and keep them in line. If there is to be a punishment for one of them, then the apprentice must perform it.
Other Tests
I. Joining Test; If someone wants to join Marrow Pack they must pass this joining test. This ONLY makes them captured, which means warmth, food, shelter, and basic medical attention. They must pick a cat, over the age of an apprentice, to fight in the fighting pit. That picked cat cannot deny the offer. (But if you actually don’t, as the writer, you deny it. Please plan with another member.) This can be a slaughter, but only for the member of Marrow. They can kill the new cat, but the new cat can’t kill the member. If you pin them down for ten seconds, you’re in.
II. Capture to Apprentice Test; You’ve had to have been a captured cat for three moons before being considered. You can only go from captured to an apprentice, unless you’re an elders age. You must hunt, you’ve proven your strength and fighting, now for hunting. Captured cats can NOT become an Executioner. You must hunt in the sea, and you must get three different animals. This could be a bird, a clam, or a fish. Or it can be three different fish, etc.
III. Captured Apprentice to Full Member; All you have to do is have the okay from your mentor, and then pass the basic tests that are given to all apprentices.
Punishments
I. Declaw/Lose fang.
II. Traniee/Kits attack, if the one being punished fights back they’re killed.
III. Thrown into the fighting pit in a free-for-all.
IV. Banishment.
V. Removing eye, deafening, or removing tongue.
VI. Drowning.
VII. Rank becomes captured.
VIII. Death.
IX. Suffocation.
X. Killed by the snakes.
XI. Poisoned.
XII. Other.
I. Anyone and everyone can go into the fighting pit!
II. No jumping in to help your lover/friend. When the fight starts it won’t stop until a cat dies or taps out.
III. There can be 3vs1, if agreed by both parties.
IV. A form of punishment!
V. Free for all! These is when any cat can jump it at any point.
